Ford?s Global LED Lighting Installations

A 56 million kWh reduction expected. This morning Ford revealed it is investing in low carbon LED lighting at manufacturing facilities around the world. The new lights with a street value of more than $25 million, will save both energy and corporate $s while improving lighting quality. The 25,000 new LED fixtures will replace traditional high-intensity discharge and fluorescent lights, and are expected to reduce Ford?s energy use at manufacturing facilities by [b]56 million kilowatt-hours annually[/b]!
