2015 Could Be the Beginning of Stop/Start for Everything

2015 Impala with the 2.5L to receive the fuel saving tech as standard equipment. Chevrolet announced that Stop/Start technology will be standard on the 2015 Impala with the base 2.5L I4 engine. They went onto declare that it will improve city FE 1 mpg or by 5 percent. To get to that level, you would have to be stopping every darn block and for a significant amount of time. Stop/start technology is already a mainstay in Europe and is becoming more prevalent in the U.S. Of the 82.8 million cars sold globally last year, 8.8 million of just over 1`0 percent are so equipped.
