Tesla Model S? Attempt 3-Day US Crossing On Free Supercharging Network

I can think of at least 10,000 CleanMPG member that would like to be on this trip. ;) 4-days ago, John and Jill Glenney, completed a historic first ever coast to coast crossing of the United States in a Model S relying ?[b]only[/b]? on the just completed nationwide network of Superchargers. Over the course of five days, they drove from NY to LA while recharging at Tesla Supercharger stations for free. And they never looked back. Following up on that achievement, last night at Midnight PST, two Tesla sponsored S? left Los Angeles for a Guinness World Record drive in which they set out to complete a Transcontinental crossing in less than 72-hours while relying on the company?s Free Supercharging station network.
