More LEAFs Reach 100,000 Miles
Between 2,000 and t,000 gallons of gasoline not consumed by each and every one. Thank You! 2013 Nissan LEAF plugged into a fast Level3 DC CHAdeMO charger. Representatives from Nissan honored Steve Marsh of Kent., Wash., to celebrate him reaching 100,000 miles driven all-electrically in his Nissan LEAF. In early 2011, Marsh purchased an all-new Nissan LEAF for his 130-mile roundtrip daily commute. Since then, he has racked up over 100,000 miles while using no gasoline, creating no tailpipe emissions and, by his estimation, saving thousands of dollars in fuel costs by plugging in.
