2015 Kia Soul EV

Only 27 kWh for a 120 mile range BEV? Kia Soul EV is scheduled to go on sale sometime in 2014 Kia released details on its all-electric Kia Soul, scheduled to go on sale in 2014. The Soul BEV will be Kia?s first all-electric, zero-emissions vehicle outside of Korea. The Soul EV is based off the current all-new second-generation Kia Soul platform. Where it gets controversial however is the estimated range of 120 plus miles. Namely because of its smallish 27 kWh Li-Po pack yielding a 225 Wh/mile rating. While I am sure it could be driven to that without issue, on the EPA test cycles, that is very aggressive for a heavier with the Li-Ion?s Soul sized platform.
