Can cars fly? Small ones can, right off the lot.
Smaller automobiles like the 2007 Honda Fit are so popular they are hard to keep in stock. Pushed by Toyota Yaris, Honda Fit and Nissan Versa - small, front-wheel-drive, fuel-efficient subcompacts introduced this year - the low-price end of the small-car market is up 42.2% through November compared with a year ago, industry tracker Autodata says. That's in an overall new vehicle market down 2.5%. Experts aren't surprised.
