On Tuesday July, 30th, Greenland experienced the highest temperature ever measured by an official at the Greenlandic airport weather station. According to the report, recordings first bean being recorded in 1958. On 30 July 2013 at 4 'clock in the afternoon, a temperature reading of 78.9 degrees F was recorded at the Maniitsoq weather station located a few hundred miles north of Greenland's southwest coast. According DMI, the previous high of 77.9 degrees F was recorded in July of 1990.
