Chevrolet Cruze Is Now Being Built More Efficiently
GM makes commitment to reduce its energy consumption exceeds goals thanks to the LED. GMs Lordstown assembly and stamping complex, where the Chevrolet Cruze and Cruze TD are manufactured made the switch to wireless controlled LED lighting in what the automaker is calling its largest conversion in North America. The overreaching idea was to replace the existing stamping plants 40-foot high bay lighting with one that provided the same brightness and illumination yet costs less money, consumes less energy and requires less maintenance. A very noteworthy target to say the least.
