Just mentioning the word raises the ire of millions of Southern Californians who have experiences its slow speed madness in a daily grind nobody wants yet many continue to endure. Busy like you have never seen traffic before no matter the hour day or night, Interstate 405 is the most direct route between San Diego and Northern California.
