The upcoming IS 300h is equipped with a second generation Lexus Hybrid Drive system powered by a 179 hp atkinsonized 2.5L featuring a next generation D-4S fuel injection system, Dual VVT-i and a high-efficiency Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system. The RWD IS 300h has 223 total system hp on tap with HSD supplying almost 25% of the total output and allowing the IS 300h to sprint to 60 in just 8.2 seconds.
