Ford?s all-new 1.5L EcoBoost Engine. Ford this evening announced details on its rumored all-new 1.5L EcoBoost engine. Production will occur at Ford?s Craiova, Romania engine facility, later this month. The new engine will be introduced in China in the all-new Ford Mondeo first with the Fusion sedan slated to receive the 1.5L in North America later this year. Afterwards, the new Mondeo in Europe will be a recipient. A 1.5L EcoBoost in a Fusion? The 1.6L EcoBoost is a 9.4 to 9.5 second car now. Over 10 might be too much? But wait?
