U.S. Vehicle Fleet Fuel Economy Hiccup
Increases for 2012 guaranteed. Yesterday the EPA released its annual report that tracks the fuel economy of vehicles sold in the United States. According to the report, EPA estimates that between 2007 and 2011 (last year in which full EPA results have been tallied) fuel economy values increased by 9 percent. The report expects Fuel Economy to rise in 2012 by1.4 mpg for cars and trucks.
