2014 US Fiesta Receives the 1.0L EcoBoost!

Bye Bye anemic 1.6L, hello 1.0L EcoBoost :D Refreshed 2014 Fiesta to receive the 1.0L EcoBoost! In a release the Ford folks have been working on for some time, the upcoming 2014 Ford Fiesta will be the first vehicle available in the United States with Ford?s 1.0L 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine. And here is the best part? Though the car has only completed preliminary EPA certification testing (Ford said none but we know that is not entirely true ;)) it is expected to be certified [b]as the most fuel-efficient non-hybrid car available in the United States[/b]. That means beating the Passat TDI?s 31/43 mpgUS EPA rating.
