Base MSRP: There?s Base and Then There?s The Actual Real Base MSRP

Recent model price creep brings about not just wide gaps between top to bottom but bottom to the real bottom line pricing for the rest of us. SNL?s Seth and Amy segments called ?Really!? comes to mind. A rash of new models have entered our psyche over the past few years and with them, the reviews and reports of a base price of $xx,xxx USD. That base price is meant to grab our attention and get you in the dealerships door. It grabs mine and after a few minutes of due diligence, the Base price is not all what it is cracked up to be.
