Ben Baltz, an 11-year-old boy who lost his leg to bone cancer, is carried across the finish line by Pfc. Matthew Morgan, a Marine stationed at Corry Station who was helping to supervise a children's triathlon in Pensacola, Fla., An inspiring story of courage by a young cancer survivor running in just his third triathlon was intertwined with the generosity and a ?Can Do? attitude by some local marines yesterday. The bold act of kindness changed the outcome of the race from ?cannot? to ?we will? finish this race ? together. Spectators at the Sea Turtle Childrens Triathlon in Florida were brought to tears by the sight of a Marine carrying a young boy with a shattered prosthetic leg across the finish line.
