They did not say it was a 12V (somehow???) but they did not say it wasn?t either? The new Li-Ion replacement is just 7.9 in x 7 in x 2.75 in (length x width x height) and weighs just 4.85 pounds! DENSO has developed a Li-Ion battery that is said to improve the fuel economy of Stop/Start systems even further. DENSO?s new battery pack allows the stop/start system to use more regenerative power than current conventional Pb-Acid and AGM 12V batteries.
