2013 VW Jetta Hybrid

VW revealed one of its most fuel efficient models at this year?s 2012 NAIAS in the form of the upcoming 2013 Jetta Hybrid. A turbocharged 1.4L I4 mated to a single electric motor and 7-speed DSG dual clutch AT allows the compact to reach 60 in less than 9.0 seconds while offering an estimated 45 mpgUS combined rating. The Jetta Hybrid can be driven in pure electric mode at speeds of up to 44 mph and for up to 1.2 miles depending on conditions. More importantly, a pure glide can be achieved at basically any speed.
