Nissan Changes the Work Week to Move Electric Load to the Weekends
Japan is still in a crisis with regards to power production as a number of melted Nukes are off-line and they will not be coming back. At Nissan?s Oppama Plant, Wednesdays are the new Fridays. A work week beginning on Saturday and ending Wednesday is part of a government-mandated drive to cut energy use 15 percent, coming in the wake of Japan's devastating March 11 earthquake that starkly reduced available power supply.
