Kia expanding US Production

On the heels of spectacular May sales announcement, Kia is expanding production in Georgia for the excellent 2011 Optima. 2011 Kia Optima w/ a stick key stats: $19,200 to start, 24/25 mpgUS city/highway and rated as a large car per the EPA. Kia Manufacturing Georgia has recently begun a series of expansion projects in each of the plant's four main shops ? stamping, welding, paint and general assembly ? to raise annual capacity to 360,000 vehicles starting in 2012. The growth follows Kia Motors' announcement that the award-winning Optima midsize sedan will be added to the plant's production line.
