300 Smart Fortwo BEVs Headed For the Streets of Amsterdam

car2go?s fleet sharing brings low carbon transportation to the ?Venice of the North.? car2go and Smart announced they are bringing their individual expertise to automobile mobility sharing with city cars powered only by electricity in Amsterdam before the end of the year. The program will start with up 300 Smart Fortwo BEVs. The car2go program is said to already be a success in Ulm/Germany and Austin/Texas with a total of more than 35,000 members.
