Speaking to a crowd of more than 300 employees and representatives of large American companies at the first ever National Clean Fleets Partnership hosted by UPS at its Landover, MD distribution facility, President Barack Obama praised efforts to reduce the environmental impact of corporate truck fleets, noting the potential of alternative fuel vehicles to lower the nation's dependence on oil and drive savings both from an environmental and business standpoint.
