The President Speaks About US Energy Security

?It is time for America to "get serious" about its energy demands?. In a speech given from Georgetown University this morning, President Barack Obama outlined his plans; or should we say targets, to reduce oil imports by up to 1/3 by 2025. While fuel prices (both gasoline and diesel) are now threatening the economic recovery around the world, The President misspoke when he said, ?The US must move towards getting 80% of its electricity from non-oil sources by 2035.?
