Volvo, WTF! 7 models at > 52 mpg in Europe, all 24 mpg or less here?

I know it?s the diesel and the NEDC but when is enough, enough already :mad: Volvo V60 and S60 DRIVe?s offer their owners 52 and 55 mpgUS combined on the NEDC respectively. Volvo customer can now purchase new Volvo S60?s or V60?s in the new DRIVe configuration that provides such ridiculous fuel economy that it blows my mind! Even Volvo?s smallest C30 over here is rated at just 24 mpgUS combined on our own 08 EPA. Sure the 52 and 55 mpgUS come out to ~ 43 and 45 mpgUS combined here, but its still almost double your smallest and lightest weight B/C-Segment offering here in the US?
