Ford?s Mykey Helps Teens Drive Less Distracted and Conserve Fuel

MyKey allows parents to limit speed (somewhat) and audio volume. Standard on the all-new 2012 Ford Focus. Ford?s MyKey which will be standard equipment on the 2010 Ford Focus is now standard on nearly all Ford and Lincoln models. The MyKey system?s claim to fame is it allows owners to program a key that can limit the vehicle?s top speed and audio volume. MyKey also encourages safety-belt use, provides earlier low-fuel warnings and can be programmed to sound chimes at 45, 55 and 65 mph.
