New Name for the US built Aveo replacement. 2012 Chevrolet Sonic ? Will it come equipped with the Aveo?s ill-received attributes or compete with the Fiesta?s, Mazda2?s and Fit?s of the world? Chevrolet today released images of its all-new, U.S. built North America small car to be called the Chevrolet Sonic. ?The Sonic represents a new beginning for Chevrolet in the small car segment and so we felt it was time to give it a new name,? said Chris Perry, vice president, Chevrolet U.S. Marketing.
