Opel?s Meriva BEV Prototype

Opel Meriva BEV ? 40-miles AER. Opel joined forces with MeRegioMobil to advance their version of the transportation future by developing three all-electric Meriva prototypes. Funded by the German Ministry of Economics and Technology, the research project has the goal of integrating BEVs as mobile energy storage units into the smart grid of tomorrow. Opel will use MeRegioMobil to study an all-new intelligent charging technology that could be applied to Opel BEVs in the future.
