Li-ion Motors Declared the winner of Final Race at Progressive Automotive X

As we were following the races in real time from the X-Prize site yesterday, Li-ion Motors topped the leader board for their division in the first week of the finals for the Progressive Automotive X-Prize with an average MPGe of 171.4 for the average of city, urban and highway cycles. Team Li-ion followed that with a win on Tuesday for the second week of the finals in the combined performance and efficiency 100 mile race, beating out a supercar built by Team Raceabout from Finland by .17 of a second.
