2010 International GS Trophy Qualifiers - Spain

BMW Motorrad saw the first round of the Desafio GS (Spanish GS Challenge) take place at Teruel in the north-east of Spain. Fifty-seven GS riders and enthusiasts with their own bikes registered to take part in a hard day, packed full of rated tests. All of them had the same objective ? to be one of the 18 best participants who would make it through to compete in the second round of the Desafio GS, which takes place at the Encuentro event on September in 10 through 12 in Formigal. From these final 18, three riders will be chosen. Their reward? A place on the Spanish team to represent their country in the International GS Trophy in South Africa in November.
