Toyota Hybrid Sales Surass 2.5 Million

So far this year, sales are ticking over at 2,000 Hybrid?s being sold each and every day. This is one third higher than 2009 when Toyota's hybrid sales topped two million for the first time. The higher demand follows last year's release of the third-generation Prius and the recent introduction of Camry Hybrid to Australia and China. Prius is the world's most popular hybrid vehicle with 1.8 million sales, representing 70 percent of all Toyota hybrids. In addition, the Camry Hybrid global sales are approaching 200,000.
