Falsified Emissions Certification - Sales Halt of Chinese Off-road machines
The Hensim 150 - $2,199 compared to an almost identical Honda TRX250 at $3,999. Not for sale until new emissions certificates have been sourced? The EPA today withdrew its approval of the import and sale of up to 200,000 gas-powered off-road motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles. In a statement released earlier today, the agency suspects that tailpipe emissions information was either incomplete or falsified. This is the first time the EPA has voided certificates of conformity for these types of vehicles and only the second time the agency has done so for any type of vehicle.
