Toyota Auris Hybrid trims and prices released

The Auris lineup already includes a 1.33L Dual VVT-i gasoline engine with a 6-speed manual transmission and Toyota Stop/Start technology; 1.6L Valvematic gasoline engine with a 6-speed manual or MultiMode automatic transmission; and the current fuel miser of the bunch, the 1.4L D-4D diesel, again with 6-speed manual or Multimode automatic transmission. Beginning July 1, a first for the Auris lineup will include the much talked about 1.8L HSD full-hybrid powered variant. The Auris Hybrid has been designed specifically for the European market and is built exclusively by Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK at its Burnaston factory. The 1.8-litre VVT-i petrol engine that forms part of the powertrain is sourced from TMUK?s plant at Deeside in North Wales.
