Renault's Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission

The M?gane line-up is now available with Renault's new six-speed Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) automatic transmission. The new Automatic Transmission ? which will be available as standard equipment on the dCi 110 DPF diesel engine ? is a landmark addition and will enable new M?gane customers to benefit from a transmission that combines the comfort of an automatic with the response and fuel efficiency of a manual. EDC transmission is a clean break solution with the benefit of enhancing fuel economy by 17% over a conventional automatic transmission.
