Swedish journalist Johan Ahlberg is hardly someone unknown in inner circles. The professional from the north is at home on any surface and he?s fast - not only on a computer keyboard! Here?s his latest idea. Probably already knowing the qualities of the KTM 990 Adventure, Ahlberg got in touch with KTM Sweden because he wanted to check out the situation in Iceland first hand. A couple of emails and calls later Johan was in the plane and on his way! Already waiting for him in Reykjavik was a 990 Adventure S supplied by Iceland?s KTM importer and enthusiast Karl ?Kalle? Gunnlaugsson, all ready to take off for the now famous Eyjafjalla glacier.
