HAWAII is as an early launch state for the Nissan LEAF BEV

100-mile AER 2011 Nissan LEAF parked appropriately amongst the leaves :) According to Nissan, Hawaii?s strong commitment to clean transportation is what helped them in the selection process to become one of the few initial launch markets in the U.S. beginning in early 2011. Nissan and the State of Hawaii are working towards a partnership to promote the development of a BEV network. As part of the collaboration, Nissan has committed to make the highly anticipated all-electric Nissan LEAF available to Hawaii consumers.
