But the intrepid duo weren?t the first people to set off on a mammoth global journey. Almost a year before they embarked on what would be a life-changing trip, Lisa and Simon Thomas began their own odyssey. Six years on, the husband and wife team are still on the road and don?t foresee coming home for some time yet.
