Ford uses Avatar?s motion capture SW to improve designs

Sam Worthington as the Marine Jake Sully, inhabiting a host body on Pandora, a distant moon, in James Cameron?s ?Avatar.? Ford today released an interesting article describing how they are using the latest state of the art virtual engineering or motion-capture technology to design vehicles that are more comfortable and enjoyable to drive. This same SW was used to create films like ?Avatar,? ?Lord of the Rings? and ?Shrek?.
