How long will lower gas prices last?

Enjoy cheaper gasoline while you can, Metro Detroiters, because no one can say for sure if it will stay that way for very long. Motorists woke up Monday morning to the cheapest gasoline in almost two months, since summer officially began in June. The average for regular gasoline stood at $2.86 a gallon, but stations throughout Metro Detroit were charging less, at least one as low as $2.69. Numerous others were asking $2.72.
