Australian Toyota Camry Hybrid ? More details
Peter Evans, corporate manager of Toyota Australia's product planning, says the Toyota Camry Hybrid to be launched in February of 2010 will have lower fuel-consumption and emissions performance better than most small and compact cars available to Australian?s today. Mr Evans says the Camry Hybrid owner will save at least 336 US gallons of fuel over a year of city driving compared with locally built six-cylinder rivals. Over a year, with an average of 12,500 miles off city driving, that would mean a saving of at least $1,320 a year for each owner based on a pump price of $1.20/L for regular unleaded gasoline.
