Toyota develops advanced highly scratch-resistant Clear Coat
2010 LS 600h L hybrid luxury sedan - $106,035 to start and just 21 mpgUS combined will be one of the frist to receive the new clear coat. Toyota announces that it has developed a clear-coat paint with self-restoring qualities that is highly resistant to surface scratches usually caused by car wash brushes or fingernails. Toyota plans to use the clear coat on the soon-to-be-upgraded Lexus "LS".
