Toyota, Community teams up to support National Public Lands Day
Employees from Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky along with community volunteers and members of local boy scouts and girl scouts gathered at Fort Boonesborough State Park in Richmond on Saturday, September 12, 2009 as part of the 16th annual National Public Lands Day activities. National Public Lands Day is the nation?s largest hands-on volunteer effort to improve and enhance the public lands Americans enjoy. Last year, 120,000 volunteers built trails and bridges, removed trash and invasive plants and planted 1.6 million trees.
