BMW - Desert Planet motorcycle adventure

Since 1991, motorcycle adventurer and desert expert, Michael Martin has ridden to the ends of the earth with his a variety of BMW GS?. His bike travels have taken him from the source of the Nile, across Africa and across desert regions of three Continents including Asia, Australia and America. The 46-year-old Munich native now wants to go one step further by crossing the dry deserts of ice and volcanic outcrops while riding a 2009 BMW R 1200 GS Adventure. The projects name, Desert Planet, intends to reproduce our relationships with the earth in both pictures and reports on global climate change.
