Coleman Supports Higher Gas Mileage Standards.

Higher gas prices are fueling the call for cars that get better gas mileage. However the average mileage of America's vehicles has been stuck for the past two decades at just over 20 miles per gallon. One reason the average hasn't risen is because of deadlock in Congress over raising mileage standard requirements. There's a move in Congress to break the deadlock, and Minnesota Sen. Norm Coleman has signed on.
