1 Megawatt Solar Array on top of Orange County Convention Center Orlando, FL. -- Florida is now a front-runner in sustainability as early next Wednesday morning, the Orange County Convention Center's all-new one-megawatt photovoltaic (PV) system will be turned on. This is the largest rooftop solar installation in the Southeast with panels spanning the length of five and a half football fields. Capable of generating 1,300 megawatt-hours of electricity per year, the centers electricity use form other non-sustainable sources will be drastically reduced.
