Drunk driver sentenced to decade in prison for death of motorcyclist in Mil
Kathleen Boland, a drunk driver who struck and killed a motorcyclist in Milwaukee last summer during the Harley-Davidson 105th Anniversary Celebration, was sentenced on Monday to spend the next decade of her life in prison. Boland plead guilty in January to homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle in the death of motorcycle rider Michael Fleming of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Boland's blood alcohol level was estimated to be at .232 percent at the time of the accident. In addition to 10 years in prison, Boland must serve five years of extended supervision after her release.
