Ford to present Hybrid and EcoBoost tech at the 2009 SAE World Congress
Dearborn, MI -- The parallel hybrid system that is incorporated into the 2010 Ford Fusion, current and future EcoBoost engine technology, and Ford?s aggressive electrification plan will be key topics of discussion during the 2009 Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) World Congress held in Detroit, MI from April 20 - 23. Ford engineers, researchers and academia will present more than 70 papers on a variety of powertrain, safety, design and manufacturing topics during the conference.
