Volvo?s fuel efficient mild hybrid Diesels will be on the floor in Geneva

G?teborg, Sweden -- At this year?s Geneva Auto Show, Volvo will be presenting no less than seven fuel-efficient DRIVe models with fuel efficiency ranging from 39.2 mpgUS to 60 mpgUS on the NEDC. The exceptionally low fuel consumption capability for the C30, S40 and V50 is due to an advanced Start/Stop and intelligent Regenerative braking system. The DRIVe badge will be attached to Volvo?s that have the best environmental performance in their class. All today's DRIVe models are equipped with a conventional fuel efficient diesel engines, manual gearbox optimized for low fuel consumption, low rolling resistance tires and reduced air drag.
