Audi R15 ready to launch the 2009 American Le Man?s series

2009 Audi R15 TDI ? Fast, Quiet and so efficient that racing rules were changed to limit the quantity of fuel it could carry. Ingolstadt, Germany -- The eagerly awaited first race of Audi?s latest diesel sports car draws near. Two Audi R15?s will run the notorious 12-hour race at Sebring, Florida on 21 March. The US endurance classic will act as a test and dress rehearsal for the 2009 - 24 Hours of Le Mans to be run in mid-June. The new Audi R15 TDI is packed with numerous technically innovative solutions significantly improved over its predecessor, the famous R10 TDI. The first test of the new R15 LMP1 prototype has been successfully completed.
