A speed-camera hero

Let's hear it for Dale Lyle, aged 21, from Bristol, who drives a beat-up old Honda Civic. Mr Lyle successfully contested the findings of a speed camera that appeared to have caught him driving at 98mph, by proving, at a cost of $1,700 USD, that his little 1.3-litre Civic wouldn't go faster than 85mph. He presented his evidence in court, which forced the CPS to "offer no evidence against him."
