Gasoline and Diesel down slightly
Gasoline prices stabilizing. According to a report issued by the EIA, gas prices reversed the trend of the previous three weeks. The nationwide average cost for a gallon of regular unleaded fell almost a penny to $1.84 cents per gallon. This is $2.27 lower then the all time high seen in early July of last year and a full $1.14 lower than a year ago. As has been the case the previous few weeks, the Rocky Mountain States have the lowest average cost per gallon of any area in the country at $1.64 while the West coast has the highest at $2.06.
