We are starting to consider cars again. I really do like the idea of using locally-sourced sunshine to get around, rather than oil shipped in (on literal ships!) from 2500+ miles away. And, since we sort of get the sunshine for "free", it would save on gasoline expenditures.

I'm still leaning toward PHEV, though Da Boss has floated...

September saw new light-vehicle sales drop by 12.8% year over year, recovering slightly to a seasonally adjusted annual rate (SAAR) of 15.8 million, up from the previous year’s 15.7 million figure and August’s 15.3 million.
